JE&SL Hope and Missionary Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization.  This organization provides relief to those struggling with day to day life. Many are struggling just to get by.  Support is given both locally and internationally. Seasonally gifts of kindness are given to nursing homes, homeless shelters, and women's emergency  shelters.
  
Edison and Sandra Laborde are the founders. Edison    frequently traveled to Haiti, and during his travels he witnessed poverty, but most importantly he saw hopelessness in the eyes of the young and the old. Some expressed "who cares about us?" and "we are forgotten," which stirred Edison's passion to help people.

Sandra's desire to help people stems from her work and volunteering experience in various settings such as nursing homes, soup kitchens, and hospitals. While working in these settings she developed compassion for those stressed and struggling to meet day to day needs. Sometimes an act of kindness like providing toiletries, food or even a gift card can go a long way to bring hope in someone's life.
